What Is Right For Your Skin?

I often get asked ''what is the difference between the skin treatments that I offer''?

So, I thought I would give you a quick overview of them so you can have a bit more insight into what might be right for you.

There is a facial out there for everyone but sometimes it's hard to know where to start, you can look at more simple skin treatments to start with and then if you would like more results driven treatments, then the options are there when you are ready to move on in your skin journey.

Cosmeceutical Facials – Using the Juliette Armand products these facials can really improve everyone’s skin, it’s a great non-invasive facial option to help start getting your skin in a good condition, if you’ve never spent much time on your skin it's important to improve its function before jumping into any of the advanced treatments.

These facials use products that are formulated with active ingredients such as antioxidants, retinoids, and peptides, which can penetrate deeper into the skin than regular skincare products. Additionally, these facials can help with conditions such as acne, hyperpigmentation, and rosacea. Cosmeceutical facials can leave your skin looking and feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, and radiant. I would recommend you have these facials monthly.

Dermaplaning – This is a very popular deep exfoliating treatment removing superficial vellus hair (peach fuzz) and dead skin cells, it is suitable for everyone but if you suffer with any skin condition that can flare up like acne or rosacea then I would wait until the skin is calmer before booking.

It is a fantastic facial to have as a one off before an event as make up goes on really well or you can have it every 4-6 weeks as a regular deep cleansing facial.

Dermaplaning facial is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a surgical scalpel to scrape the surface of the skin.

This treatment has many benefits, including improved skin texture and tone, reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, brighter complexion, better absorption of skincare products, and even makeup application. Dermaplaning facial is also safe for all skin types and requires no downtime. It is a quick and painless procedure that can leave your skin looking radiant and refreshed.

Dermalux LED – is possibly the industries best kept secret it really can treat even the most sensitive conditions, it’s fantastic for things such as would healing, rosacea, acne and psoriasis. If you are looking to treat an ongoing skin condition, then my home rental program for the Dermalux LED is definitely for you or you can add it on to any of my other skin treatments and increase your skins cell renewal by up to 200%.

A Dermalux LED Phototherapy facial is a non-invasive and pain-free procedure that delivers light energy to the skin, stimulating cellular regeneration, collagen production, and improving skin tone and texture. It can also reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars, and soothe inflammation and redness.

The treatment is suitable for all skin types and colours and requires no downtime, making it an ideal choice for those seeking an effective and convenient skincare solution. The benefits of this facial include improved skin hydration, increased circulation, and enhanced skin clarity and is the perfect add on to any facial treatment to increase results.

Skin Peels – This treatment is really effective and not as terrifying as you might think, most skin peels are very superficial nowadays and the aim is actually not to make your skin peel, I just recommended you have a course of lighter peels instead, offering effective results without the downtime - unlike the 80’s style peels that removed god knows how many layers of skin and you couldn’t leave the house for a month.

Peels can be adapted to everyone’s skin, a skin peel facial offers numerous benefits such as brighter, smoother, and clearer skin. These facials can also help to treat acne, reduce the appearance of scarring, and improve skin hydration, it also helps to even out skin tone, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and improve skin texture. Overall skin peels remove dead skin cells and stimulate the production of collagen, which rejuvenates the skin and gives it a youthful glow leaving you feeling refreshed and revitalized.

Cryotherapy – Have you got any little blemish that always bothers you, but you don’t know the best way to get rid of it?

Well Cryotherapy is probably what you are looking for it can treat all benign skin imperfections including (but not limited to) skin tags, verruca’s, age spots, pigmentation, sun damage, milia, cherry angiomas and warts.

The Cryopen uses liquified N2O to deliver quick, effective Cryotherapy treatment to all benign blemishes, this treatment is quick, non-invasive, and does not require any downtime, making it an ideal option for people with busy lifestyles. Furthermore, the treatment is relatively low-risk and does not cause scarring or damage to the surrounding tissue, making it a safe and effective solution for removing your unwanted skin blemishes.

CooLifting – This facial is definitely different but very effective at getting instant plumping and hydration into the skin and great option for those red carpet event or if it is carried out as an intensive course the results are great.

CooLifting facial is a non-invasive, painless, and quick procedure that uses low temperatures and high pressure to hydrate, brighten, and tighten the skin.

The treatment works by the using the ‘’Bohr Effect’’ a serum is pushed into the skin using C02 which causes vasoconstriction as a result of this, it increase the oxygen flow to the cells which will stimulate collagen and elastin formation within the skin.

The benefits of a CooLifting facial session include improved skin elasticity, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, decreased pore size, brightened complexion, and increased collagen production. The procedure is suitable for all skin types and ages and provides immediate results without downtime or side effects. CooLifting is an effective alternative to invasive anti-aging treatments and makes for a refreshing and rejuvenating addition to any skincare routine.

Dual Injector – I love this treatment for everyone it's non-invasive with fabulous results it uses two technologies Radio Frequency and Electroporation to address different skin concerns. This treatment offers various benefits, including skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, collagen production, improved skin texture, increased hydration, and enhanced skin elasticity.

It is also known to improve the absorption of skincare products into the skin, making it an excellent option for those who want to maximize the effectiveness of their skincare regimen. With minimal downtime and quick results, this facial is an excellent choice for those looking for a safe and effective anti-aging solution.

It is safe for most skin types and can be customized to meet individual treatment goals but attending a skin consultation is recommended to determine suitability and expectation of end results, this treatment is a great as a standalone treatment, but my advice would always be to carry out a course of treatment and then have monthly maintenance to continue seeing results.

Advanced Microneedling - Dermapen is a skin microneedling treatment is suitable for people who want to improve the appearance of their skin used to treat a number of skin conditions, with minimum downtime post treatment. The treatment stimulates natural collagen production in the skin to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, scars, acne scarring and all over skin rejuvenation.

So, this treatment is my go to if you are looking to take the next step into more minimally invasive treatments to get exceptional results.

The Dermapen microneedling device uses very fine needles to puncture the skin. The process causes micro-injuries to the skin, which trigger the body's natural healing response and stimulate collagen production. It's safe for all skin types and has minimal downtime, making it a popular treatment option.

Radio Frequency Microneedling - The Focus Dual machine uses the advanced technology of Radio Frequency Microneedling (RFM) this treatment has all the benefit of normal microneedling but when it is combined with Radio Frequency you will get additional skin tightening and it significantly boosts production of collagen as it causes thermal stimulation too, this treatment will allow for quicker and greater results due to ultimate combination of these dual technologies.

The treatment is also minimally invasive which means minimal downtime, making it ideal for people who want to receive significant results without undergoing surgery and it can be customized to suit each individual's specific needs. Overall, Focus Dual offers a non-invasive solution to achieving smoother and tighter younger-looking skin.

High Intensity Focus Ultrasound (HIFU) – This is my gold standard in advanced skin tightening. It is ideal for individuals with mild to moderate facial laxity or skin laxity in areas such as the cheek, neck and jowls, it offers a non-invasive way to tighten and lift the skin while also aiding the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

It stimulates collagen production and can help with facial contouring, resulting in a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance. It is a safe and effective alternative to more invasive procedures like a facelift, with no downtime.

The benefits of the HIFU treatment include improved skin texture and tone, reduced signs of aging, and overall skin rejuvenation. This treatment is recommended to have between 1-3 in the first year depending on your skin and then annual maintenance of 1-2 a year. It is the perfect treatment to go alongside RFM or Advanced Microneedling as these treatments focus on the surface of the skin and HIFU treat the lower level structure of the face.

If you have been thinking of starting your skin journey, then book a consultation and we can look at the right path for you to take to start reaching your skincare goals.
